Personally one of my fav strategy games find myself always coming back to it across multiple thousands of hours across a few steam accounts over the years i love trying different ♥♥♥♥ like trying to beat the imperials without guns and just other ill conceived ideas. the ai is unforgiving and brutal and all out war is a certantity in every game so come prepared (and for god sake dont negelect your navy u will regret it in the end) legendary mode is and will always be the only true test of if u really know your ♥♥♥♥ on this game

This still holds up (however many years later). Got it day one and every time I come back to it I realize 1) how great total war can be and 2) how far total war has fallen after this title. Let's pray they bring back the magic with medieval 3. Fingers crossed.
