It is Spear of Adun abilities, from the Legacy of the Void campaign, which itself is taken from the Support Powers from C&C.
You know the tech tree only goes up to t2, right? We're missing an entire tier of units/buildings/upgrades. So if we only have 2/3 of the available tech now, and it goes up to 3/3... that is literally a 50% increase. SC2 and WC3 would look pretty sparse if you removed all the T3 tech as well.
All races also had the global abilities in SC2 Co-Op mode. This game was originally supposed to target 3v3, and 3vAI co-op both modes with heroes. Now that they decided to make 1v1 the main mode, and more of a direct Starcraft clone the abilities do feel out of place.
I do agree that it seems that, at first, the game was supposed to be a Coop first and foremost game, but has been captured by the 1v1 Esports crowd, and that is who it will be catering to, in the end.
There is literally no reason right now to play this instead of Starcraft 2if you already own that one.
Tried 3 rounds and had no fun with it, like completly none.
Music isnt great, audio isnt, graphics arent… to me it felt like starcraft hasnt existed and the game is before that.
I also wasnt happy that the game consumes so much PC performance for almost nothing.
