Final Gear, Crash Test Industries

I've just got absolutely no clue how to get this thing. I assume it has something to do with Crash-O-Bot, since he's got a gear visible in his chest (and I've also looked everywhere else in the level already), but I can't figure out what I would need to do to get it.
Anyone figured this out?

I can assure you that the gear visible on Crash-O-Bot is purely decorative.
Several of the gears in that level are placed in a manner where you wont see them until you're very close (partially due to the fixed camera). I did have some trouble with finding all the gears there myself, my best tip is to try ramping off of every single sloped surface you can find, the gear you missed is likely on a platform/pipe outside your view.

Ah, found it. It was basically hidden behind a Golden Bunny, which is probably why I couldn't find it; I wasn't expecting the rarer collectible to be easier to find.

😅 Funny, I was stuck missing a gear and a bunny in that level too and my thought process was exactly the same, I had to get a gear from the bot at the end somehow. I thought, maybe run the last conveyor belt quickly or stay on it for a while? Turned out what I really had to do was launch myself in the direction of a suspiciously placed coin on one of the right side paths.

Frustration aside, that was a really well designed level.
