Sonic, You Can Do Anything is nice in instrumental form only as the chorus is stupid. The rap verse is OK though. Cosmic Eternity is cool in both Instrumental and lyrical form and Sonic Boom is awesome. Shame the slow credits version doesn't have it's unique verses in the normal Sonic Boom too.
The JP Boss is great for the Good Future and the US Boss is great for the Bad Future (and nicking to use in Marathon mods). This is another issue with picking a soundtrack as I don't get both in that very context.
So I end up having pumping workout tunes I like to listen to at the gym while fighting Eggman in polluted water with fish dust mud on the floor and in the final boss, a climactic "you've interfered for the last time!" song after he's already won and the planet is a dystopian nightmare (and boiling your feet) or I can end up with terrifying 90s electrohouse (or whatever genre it is) of the damned suited for Eggman rubbing in his victory...while fighting a pink, non threatening Lil'Slugger with pinball bumpers instead of a chainsaw blade in a sunny, rainbow filled lagoon. Except possibly Amy (depending on how one thinks Sonic sees her) and the End of the World black holes if playing New Sonic on Xenia (due to a glitch in the emulator), Sonic shouldn't fear pink. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1408243778
