Controls not binding

I wanted to try this game but I'm trying to set my controls with both the ThrustMaster SimTask FarmStick and HORI Truck Control System (both wheel and shifter) and while some controls are working, others just simply remain blank after pressing the button. (I.E. I'm trying to set the bind for Beacon to Button 23 on the Shifter and it remains blank).

Help would be greatly appreciated.

When you do get the controls bound they don't remain that way. You change vehicles and half your binds don't work anymore. I've found that going to the settings and saving the binds again works but it's frustrating to do it all the time.

Edit: you can click mouse to also get the binds to work. Easier but still weird.

farmstick for some reason dont wanna bind
past 20 or 21 key . its known issue with that joystick

I'm using a VKB gladiator and stecs and agree with only a handful of buttons actually respond when binding them. For example, I have parking brake set to a button on the stecs on the handle. If i try to assign it to a button on the base it doesnt work. Works fine in other games (farm sim, elite: dangerous, etc). I emailed the devs about it.

Mapping the HOTAS can be done in the Joystick tab. However, I suspect that the HOTAS maps its buttons as different D-pads, which could explain why some buttons aren’t functioning. Currently, we support one D-pad per controller, and we’re working on adding support for more. To make it work for now, you would need to use a program that converts D-pads to regular button inputs.
