disagree also.. the new dirt is awsome and working alot better.. and game is running alot better now then before
Just be patient, the way dirt handles will far exceed the current and old dirt physics, it just might take a few iterations.
With the ball physics its possible to create ore passes, with the new physics in the Open Beta this isnt possible at all, you would need to use conveyors which is in my honest opinion just lame in underground mines.
I too hope they keep it in as a option
I have not played the game for more than 20 minutes in the beta, the new system is not fun for me and looks bad, at least till now.
I think many people enjoying the game on the stable version will face a big let down when the beta goes to stable.
I should hopefully be an option still, otherwise this would look not so good.

The new bulk(ish?) system is the way forward, and we can only hope that it reach the quality and enjoyment the dirt balls had, sometime in the future.
