So I found out that you can buy cnc cutter and buy steel bars and plates and make huge steel doors and sell it for major profit, the material to make the doors aren't expensive at all so you can make a good 200 to 300 doors if you have like 5-10 cnc machines. Just making them for 10 to 15 minutes can make you 2-3 mil in no time. its broken and needs to be nerfed, add a limit to how much material you can buy in a certain time like integrate a market or something so the more you buy the more it costs and the stock can run out or something. It isn't just steel stuff, you can also do it with wood products and such. I also think that ores should give you more money or add like manufacturing plant items like smelters and stuff that can go on conveyers, that would be pretty cool. Love the game, keep it up!

A lot of balancing needs to be done in that area.

I accidentally found making concrete floors turns a huge profit. I made like $4 million from one cement mixer and 3 small wash stations while explosive mining in a few hours. I was not even trying to gear it up, it just sort of happened.
Selling ingots does not really make the huge money.

You can also go into Infinite in Default mode and transfer 100M to your bank. Don't save, just exit to menu and create a new game how you like, then you have your 100M in your bank.

Conrad, the whole point of the game is to dig and earn money, not to afk and let the game make it for you, takes the fun out of the game. If you want to have more money, there are the other game modes and configure it the way you like.

wtf? look at the other replies on how to make money even easier. i play it the hard way.
look up some real 24 to 30 foot tall doors and compare the prices. look up a real cnc table... you will see the in game doors need to be worth more money. real doors would be worth at least 10 grand. i was just saying if you don't like the value then do not build them. other people will play the way they like. changing the value because you don't like it is not the answer.

I only cheat when the game cheats me first. I earned 13 million the hard way, then I put the money into my bank and decided to start a new game. I started the new game, and got all my hard earned money from the bank. And then spawned a dozer and got in. When I hit the gas, the Brake Alert came on and then my game crashed. Unfortunately, when I restarted, all my millions were gone. That is not the intent of the game. So, i cheated the bank system simply to get my original amount back into my game.

Conrad, I am just saying that it's too easy and cheap to make the expensive doors, I suggested that they add a limit of some sort to not get unlimited afk money, all you have to do is buy 2 steel beams and 3 steel plates which together is somewhere around 500 each to make a door then you sell the door for like 3 to 4k each, not to mention that you can also get multiple cnc-machines and make them in an instant, i'm not saying to get rid of the mechanic, all I am saying is to limit it by adding like a market system so the stock can run out with that certain item for a random amount of time. I said nothing bad about the prices, I am just making a suggestion on the game so its more balanced like adding more value to a item the more the stock goes down, like in real life, the more rare something is, the more it costs. Draken, understandable, hopefully they can get that bug fixed soon.

if you dig for ore's making money is a hellish task, some people dont have all day to dig for 50.000 mostly one scoop is just 1,500 to get 50.000 like that its 33.333 scoops thats insane

...AND its no fun at all when the excavator wants to turn over because its to top heavy and unrealistic. I should be able to dig and pull out a scoop without one of my tracks coming off the ground.

^this Is why I stopped using the excavator AND the dozer. Tracked vehicles should not be sliding around and toppling over. It makes it no fun to use.

And when making concrete floors is WAY more profitable than processing any of the ores, you might as well dump the ores on the ground and make nothing but concrete.

Or buy logs then turn them into wood floors then sell them. You can make 50.000 faster than digging!

All of your points are true, it is crazy hard to earn money by only selling material from digging, and the controls and vehicles need a lot of work. Hopefully they can fix the bugs and increase the amount of money you make from digging either in general or by adding features that increase the price of the materials you put into your conveyor, they are a small company that started out modding for farming sim so I understand, it's super hard to build a game without a lot of help.

The game got very unbalanced since the workbenches update but I think it's by design, see how people like/interact with them. It'll come good.
XP is the hard one to earn for me but I find dirt gets me leveled the fastest
