How to get XP?

Before the Update i got XP when i sell something but after the update when i sell coal or something else i dont get XP to get a higher level what do i wrong or can u now only gain XP when u do the Quest. Or did it only works when i start a new Map with the Company

Please help :)

Same here! I used a wheel loader for hours last night to get 1 level. Used the pick for less than an hour to get 2 levels. Its as if the devs want us to stop using the big equipment.

That doesn't make sense right now if I set the XP rate to high I get 1 XP for everything I sell, regardless of whether it's cash or dirt. I get more than 100 XP from woodcutting. I thought this was a mining simulator and not a lumberjack.

Its not unplayable, but needs some base game work rather than implementing hand tool and crafting,

Definitely earning XP from somewhere, I'm up to 15mil and mostly in the past week. I'm smelting everything, auto selling the dirt, and producing stuff to increase the value, I don't pay any attention to it but it's not quest related that level. Running 30 smelters, 8 roller mills, stamping presses, and 9 cnc mills constantly
