How do I remove? I tried using pickaxe, shovel, hammer, an explosive (just one type) and no luck. It's currently hanging in midair as I was hoping it would fall or something.

Normally hit it with a vehicle works. But found once its air born it nearly impossible to remove. Think u have to put a little dirt on the ground to cover the grass then load the save back up and it shouldnt load the rock in. Works for keeping trees away at least

After a few loading of the save, the boulder ended up becoming just a small blob of dirt. Would be nice to have a way to remove without vehicles, such as with the pickaxe.

i am aware it was added after you made this post but according to the Hotfix 0.21.1375 notes, you can now remove boulders with the hammer.
