to have all in a singel line with only one output set up your input->washplant->jaw crusher->fractioner->output
it will all run fine and you have just one container to pull all the stuff you can get out from
Hopper to Trommel with upper output to storage/sell Lower output to Sorter
Sorter, Upper output to Jaw Crusher and lower to Washplant
Washplant goes straight to storage/sell
Jaw Crusher output goes to Fractioner then on to storage/sell
I worked this based on the info provided in game by the info button in the shop. not sure if it's the best design but the trommel and sorter could be swapped as the sorter is just extracting the dirt and paydirt for the washplant.
you could use the trommel to seperate lower value things from the more expencive ones, best ust after washplant and or fractioneer.
like denagar suggested have a sorter somewhere after your washplant could sepparate the dirt out to pile up for later land reclamation projects, building roads or just to have a huge pile.
and from what i see the cone crusher should be replaced once you get the fraktioneer unlocked and build. as i dont see a way to get the minerals out of gravel like you can get them out of crushed rock with the fractioneer.
if you need the crusher(s) at all depends on what material you feed, if its only paydirt or those materials from the veins you dont need it, thats only usefill if you got some blasted rock you feed in
- hopper -> sorter
- sorter -> washplant
- sorter -> jawcrusher
- washplant -> trommel (to separate ore from simple dirt)
- jawcrusher -> fractionner
- trommel -> salepoint/storage
- trommel -> dump dirt on a pile
- frationner -> salepoint/storage
the trommel step is not mandatory as you just separate dirt from ore for not saling it, which is more realistic in a way, but for now I also sale it it make XP and money
the cone crusher transform everyting in gravel as fa as I understand, gravel is good pay for a start also
Will the Cone crusher effect the final product? I've watched some you tubers but their production line varies per you tuber. I've watched splitintwo, Britto and Kerbo. They all use a basic setup and wondering if the trommel, cone crusher etc. are worth the extra process?
Coal go through without harm. Otherwise, the washplant and fracitoner already sort (cleans paydirt and crushed stone) by themselves without sotrer and trommel, etc. anyway, the sorter behind washer is only used when I want to backfill holes.
i just placed them in the order i unlocked them, still works fine, and if i want to seperate the dirt out i could also use the sorter instead of the trommel wich would only give me dirt as paydirt wont exist after the washplant, but currently all goes into one box to sell
