Sounds like a side effect of the migrations. They've probably started pointing things at different URLs, and the older version of the game this guide uses won't know where to send it.

I've updated the guide and pointed it to a new client. This is essentially the same client used before, but with some modifications. The first thing you'll notice is the main menu UI. All of the buttons except Account have been removed to keep things on the right track. The modder has also inserted their name into the credits. Be sure to thank them for their contribution!

At this time, the "Replace" feature is not working. This may be caused by a lingering migration bug, which could be fixed in a future update. Check back after migrations have settled.

Ok, so In my attempt to replace steam account with existing web account I found that this does not work. I replaced the assembly.swf file and chose the "replace steam account with existing web account" option. Hit replace and continue, and then replaced the assembly.swf with my original. Still logged in under this Steam account, this process did not link my web to steam.

How do you unlink your steam account from a email address cause I'm having a issue with the verification for the game now i click the send email to verify button but it doesn't work yet the password reset does

I'm having the same problem. Thinking about it, I may have only put capital letters and numbers, and no lower case. It probably shouldnt have taken it if that were the case, but I still havnt gotten a linking email.

Update: I can log into the account on the web browser version, but it still needs me to verify my email. I can sign in using my email, but it never sends the verification email. Anyone else having this problem?

UPDATE 2: It worked. Im not sure what changed, since this hasnt worked for me in a few months, but it works now.

Don't know If this still works. The only thing on the menu says Link and it just shows my username and email

If you see your email there, it means you've already registered your account for the browser. Nothing else can be done with the old version.

If you need to, you can reset your password at http://realmofthemadgod.com. Just click the Account link at the main menu there.

Oh... I have a browser account set up with the same email as my steam account. Any way around this.
