How do you get coins??

Hi, I've been playing Realm of the Mad God for a year and I have absolutly no coins!!! Please tell me how to get them. (Other than buying them)

You can only get gold by buying it with real money.

It is absolutely impossible to get realm gold with out buying it with real money. The only way is to buy a UGC from someone with In-Game items. But alas this only works with the browser version or adobe flash.

you have to buy but i would not sugest
because just think you can get t10 gear for a def pot
and is anyone elses realm stuck like for mine it says could not load game because of steam conectivity error

You have to buy it. It would be pretty cool to get it from enemies.

No, that doesn't suck, it keeps game alive. Anyone can afford few bucks on the game, stop being a freebie.

Please, think of from the point of a view of a business for a second. Why would you make the currency that keeps your game alive droppable by enemies?

I don't see why you would want Gold to be droppable. Monsters drop gear and gold buys gear.

Yes Gold also buys extra char slots and vaults, but the fact that char slots and vaults are not easy to obtain makes this game so great, as nobody can hold on to their gear and shares with the newer players.

And.. Everybody that plays more then 20 hours can spend a few euro's on 1 vault and 1 extra slot IMO. Okay some of you might not have disposable income, but if you spend a lot of time on a free game IMO it's worth a donation of 10 euro's. Especially if you look at the amount of servers they have to keep online and the amount of 12 year olds that play this game but will not buy gold as they don't have creditcards yet.

Oh wait maybe there's 1 pet that can't be found ingame. But I might be thinking of a different game I don't know.
