RotMG - "Loading version error, retrying..." FIX!

NOTE: THIS IS A VERY OLD FIX WHICH WORKED BACK IN THE DAYS, NOT SURE IF IT STILL DOES. THERES A LOT OF OTHER SOLUTIONS IN THE TOPICS COMMENT SECTION AND GOOGLE, CHECK IT IF THIS DOESNT WORK. THIS WONT FIX IT IF SERVERS ARE DOWN.

This is a POSSIBLE fix for the people who get the loading version error. First go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ then choose your operative system. After that you should pick firefox (NPAPI) version and not Internet explorer. Press download and let it download and install. After install open up Realm of the Mad God and it should possibly work. If it doesn't work try chromium version (PPAPI) See you in the realm!

Hi, I've met the same error, but I'm sure that I have the latest version of flash player installed. It's possible that the issue, for those who was unable to solve this issue by reinstalling/updating the flash player, is in the internet connection. I've had problem with DNS servers last few days and the only think that I was able to do was spamming my internet provider to fix it. Otherwise the internet connection was totaly okay.

Strange, I can load the game but when I click on Account or Play (shows logged in via Steam in upper right) the screen gets darker and nothing else happens. :(

I'm on MAC OS X Version 10.8.5, my Processor is a 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, with a memory of 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, I'm in China for holiday, RotMG worked for about 3 weeks in China until last night when I couldn't connect to the Steam servers and I had to play steam as "Offline" After about 20minutes of searching how to fix the error, I switched users to my current account and I was back online. Since then , when I load up RotMG, It get's stuck on version loading error... retrying, It usually works when I'm in Australia, It worked for about 3 weeks in China, but not anymore... does this have something to do with the government's firewalls in China? Is there any solution?

P.S: I already tried the http://get.adobe.com/se/flashplayer/otherversions/ method, didn't work for me at all.

Try:

-Restarting your computer
-Wait a day, see if the problem is solved (which actually works most of the time)
-Logging out and back in Steam

If none of this works, you can still play the game on the offical ROTMG site, Kongregate, and tons of others.
