Choosing a ring for a Priest - HELP!

I'm selling a life pot for a ring, but I don't know which one. Can anyone tell me what's the best ring for a Priest that's worth 1 life pot?

exa hp/ exa def, usually exa hp cause then ur max headl is more

Sphinx[forums.wildshadow.com] or Exa HP. Both can be purchased for 1 Life (assuming there is no economic crisis going on). Para HP is only 20 hp less and makes a good substitute for a budget.

I would use a defense ring if I carried Holy Protection, as it temporarily doubles your defense. Other than that, priests can heal on demand, making the added HP from a ring much more useful.

You're welcome. Don't forget about the Purification Tome. It removes any status effects that might be ailing you. I find it most handy in a wine cellar. Its great for removing the weak status and letting me get my damage in. Not to mention the countless others that can benefit around you.

if your not good at preist, like not amazing at dodging and get a bit of lag, better to use exa def imo

Actually (I'll probably get disagreement on this), I found that Exa Wis or Exa Magic are great for a priest - or Coral Ring with the speed and magic bonuses - with a priest (depending on your play style) you can do heals quickly if you drop in health. Exa Magic gives you a 'bigger bucket' of available magic for multiple heals, while Exa Wis gives you quicker recovery of magic for longer term.

well first off, definately not exa wis, its not worth it as the regen is already quick. the exa magic is useful in some cases but if you max mana there is really no point in exa magic as you will not be using the magic all that much, and chances are, the way you die is usually by lag with a preist so the extra mp is not all that useful as the mana is high anyway. The +3 speed and dex isnt that useful for a preist as the boost is minute and wont make a difference in gaining sb as they are still a long way off their closest competitor the sorcerer. Ring of the sphinx is better than exa mp or coral ring as it gains 100 mp and 4 wis as well as 4 dex which could come in useful if you dont want exa hp or exa def. Ring of the nile is better than coral ring in everyway so if you like coral ring, you should use ring of the nile as it adds 60mp and 60 hp as well as 4 spd and dex

Its all a matter of opinion, i find coral ring quite useful on assasin, but then nile would be better than it but i find that for assasin and rogue i dont get hit a lot because of the spd so i dont need the hp. For the priest if you ahve not maxed spd and def, exa def is definately the better option but if you dont have max spd or def you shouldnt be using an exa def/hp or any exa ring that costs more than 1 def. with max spd it is quite easy to dodge hits so exa def is not needed then exa hp or a a tomb ring would definately come in useful. When using a prot i find that it is easy to tank hits and if doing a skullshrine or cube, the exa hp comes in better as it will let your cap hp be high so if you will never run out of hp or use the space bar ineffectively. The def on a maxed def preist is 40 so with a prot it becomes 80, so your pretty much already capping your max damage from the skull/cube so i would not find exa def that useful

Sphinx has the best of both worlds.

you should get an exa hp ring they are always one of the best rings for a priest!

u cant trade atm but u should get a exa def or exa wis. exa def so u wont die easily and exa wis so u can use your tomb more oftenly
