Account gone? Lost everything? Answers in here!
Hey all. Doc here, aka Trustee the moderator on the Kabam forums. Since ya'll seem to be suffering from a lack of information let me fill you in on what's going on.

First off, your account is NOT lost or reset. What's happening is Google is forcing users of their older servers to move, which includes RotMG. Kabam is calling this "migration", and it *should* happen when you log in and click OK in a box that automatically pops up. However, there are bugs (surprised?) and for lots of Steam users that means your account is not getting copied to the new servers correctly. Instead it looks like you're a brand spanking new user with nothing in your account.

To be absolutely clear: your account is safe and sound on the old servers. You don't have to worry about losing anything. You only have to worry about what you'll do until Kabam is able to get it fixed and move everyone over properly. I was told last week they're hoping to get it fixed early this week, but beyond that I have nothing more specific.

There's one thing you can try: if you've previously linked your Steam profile to an account at realmofthemadgod.com you can log in at the .com and migrate there. If you have not linked before, sorry. Linking accounts was disabled a while ago for security reasons so you're out of luck if you didn't do it before.

Some others have said they got it fixed by resetting their password. Worth a try?

Unfortunately there's nothing more that i'm aware of that you can do right now. And don't bother with a Support ticket: they can see who is having problems without your needing to tell them, plus they're buried in tickets already.

I hope this is helpful. I know it sucks and I wish I had better news.

*side note: Kabam forum mods are player volunteers, not Kabam employees. I have no special rights in the game nor access to your account.

And you're still here, too! So many folks got disconnected when the old forum died. And the Steam forum is dead, too. I didn't realize this place was so busy.

Works fine for me, for those for which it still doesn't work, try redownloading rotmg.

So last week a friend bought some kong money and put it on his account, moments after that when he reloaded the page he was loggin in on a guest account. When he logs into kong all he gets is the guest account and cant get all his stuff back. https://www.realmeye.com/player/doomleader is his realm eye and hes spent alot of money on the game over the years and never got the money he just spent on it last week.

Your friend should click the Support button from the main menu and fill out a support ticket. For fastest service, be sure to include any receipts for the transactions.

I'm a lowly forum moderator. We're players, not kabam employees. I can't do jack.

However, Kabam did just release a new update they say should fix Steam issues. Please post back if it fixed your problem.

SPEEAKING OF DAT i do not have da update for a strange resson i do not fully under stand the speed of my steam its a strange thing that happens

So, back when I was a little kid I played the heck out of this game. I got some preety good stats on my account and now that I am back to playing this game I wanted to try and get that account back. I honestly don't think I ever created an account with e-mail but I remember that my username was Ridery, is there that can be done for me to play there again? Have a good night
