Best Pet abilities
I would like to ask, which abilities/combinations does everyone consider the best?

Also, just got Heal / Magic Heal / Savage humanoid pet, and wonder if that's a good combination? I've read that Heal + Magic Heal are good, but have doubts about Savage... should I try to look for defensive 3rd ability instead, like Decoy?

Keep the baby with Heal and Magic Heal as the first two abilities. That's about as good as it gets considering most players never reach Legendary where the final ability is unlocked. Additionally, you can keep searching for a humanoid with the desired abilities and eventually fuse it with your current pet. The pet that you place on the left during fusion will determine which abilities the new pet will keep.

Also, make sure you max all abilities of each pet before fusing it. Failure to do so will result in a lower stat cap and/or more feeding costs.

But if I keep looking, which abilities would you suggest as good choices for the 3rd ability? If you could give me a little list of abilities you believe are worth keeping with a little description and/or your estimation of how good the ability is, I would appreciate that.

Pfiffel made an awesome tool for researching pets. The hatching* simulator (top right corner) will have a drop down list of abilities.

Heal, Magic Heal, Attack Close, Attack Mid, Attack Far, Electric, Decoy, Savage, and Rising Fury.

I know what pet abilities there are, I am wondering which of them are considered good, and which are bad.

heal/mp heal/ electric is the best combination easy. heal/mp heal/decoy is the second best

IMO the best pet abilitys are heal / magic heal / electric love that paralyze :P

How exactly does Decoy work? The in-game description is pretty vague.

It occasionally attracts fire toward your pet instead of you. Increasing the level makes it attract more often, causes the enemies to stay attracted longer, and increases the range of the attraction.

What about Savage and Rising Fury? Those are also very cryptic about what they do and how they work. Even the wiki I read didn't say much about them.

Savage is supposed to make your pet lunge towards enemies occasionally. This can be slightly useful if you're trying to get your pet to paralyze something, but can't seem to get close enough to it.

Rising Fury is a damage ability that will charge up while the pet is standing still and release a grenade-like blast when the pet moves.
