Realm is slow to load
I start Realm and it takes about a half hour for it to a point that I can play. Once it gets to that point its fine, no other problems. Anyone else having this problem?

What part of the process is taking so long?

The entire process seems to take a long time, it will start with the Wild Shadows Studio logo and it says initializing and after a while it goes to the black screen that says loading and then eventualy it is to the title screen.

Yes, I have almost 800 hours into the game (no life). It may be because of the newest update but I had played the update for a day before this started.

Have the same problem, try going to the local files folder, open the properties for "Realm Of The Mad God.exe" and in Compatibility check "Run as administrator". This worked for me, could have been a fluke though....

Does this issue occur over all three ways to play the game? Flash Projection, Website, and Steam?

Flaaaag, try running it in compatibility with an older windows version. Try Vista + Me. If it doesn't work there is only 1 solution!!! Like the devs say, you should buy MOAR gold so that they can create a better game!!!!!!! :D

Don't remember where i read that, but i read a "by buying gold/packs you help the devs make a better game", by an admin/dev (or in-game) or something like that. Well, this doesn't really matter though, the game is full of bugs and that is what matters. It's still hella fun though! When you can play at least xD

That is because it's badly optimized. Maximizing the window is buggy, even the Quit button is not working....
