You're playing it because you want to help people out in the game. Priests are almost invaluable when doing dungeons or events as their healing can not only keep people up and fighting but can very well save people from death. That isn't to say priest can't kick behind once they're maxed and have good gear, but they typically can't do as much as other classes.
If you play Priest prepare to place close attention to your fellow players and how much damage they take. If you see an archer take 300 damage. They probably need health bad.
If you're looking for something that doesn't have the 'babysitting' ♥♥♥♥ then you might wanna play Sorcerer, this is a class who can sweet godlands with an iron fist, almost always promising SB bags from a shot or two of his ability when targeting a big group of gods. He's obviously slightly better off then the Priest such as having more dex then the priest would.
Anyways, like Firebat said, SPD and DEX are something you're gonna wanna try doing first. Personally I don't focus on maxing a single stat, I just grab whatever potions I find, shove them into my chests and have my other character drink it later until they're 4/8.
But sometimes I get ahead of myself and get to eager and kill the character before they even get #/8.
