1. Choose your favorite class and understand him or her:
-If your favorite class is a robe wearer( meaning wizards, necromancers) then your better off with a team but you can still be well yourself. The key thing with robe wearers are keeping your distance and firepower. If you're in a dungeon, let the warriors and knights tank while you keep away and avoid bullets but keep hammering the enemy. Just keep firing while being in the back where the other robe wearers are.
- If your favorite class is a leather armor wearer like a rogue or archer, then you should follow the wizard strategy. You should shoot while keeping your distance. The only difference is sometimes you can rush in and deal the couple more damage in hopes of better loot.
- If your favorite class is a tank like a warrior or knight then you SHOULD BE SOMETHING ELSE. Chances are you are noob no offense. The last thing you should do is be a tank. There's a reason why most pro warriors have white or red stars. They are experienced. Warriors have better loot but they have the least chance of survival.
*You should start with wizard first as they can deal a lot of damage while keeping their distance.
The next thing to do is finding a team. You could have temporary teams by asking random people in chat or join a guild. Your best choice is finding an active guild but its hard to find these days. If you do, you're in good hands. However you can get by soloing.
Farming: After your level 20 and have considerable ok loot( t6-t10) then farm the god lands. Kill as much as them as you can. They provide pots like defense that you can then trade for better loot(t10 and plus). However, sometimes people call in chat special dungeons like "cemetery or lab" Go to these people and enter the dungeon. People will rush to the boss and just wait and teleport there when the rushers reach the boss. If you're the only one who discovers the dungeon call out in chat. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T SOLO THESE DUNGEONS.
Final goal: Stack up as much pots as possible. If you don't have space, trade speeds for defense( 3 or 2 speed for 1 defense). When you die these pots can be traded for better loot so you don't feel as bad for dying. The aim of this is to hopeful max out you're character but only do so if you're ready or have the pots to do so. In the mean time feed your pet with spare loot( but only those with 100 feed power or more).
This is my way to survive in ROTMG hopefully it helped.
its very helpful also i keep my nexus key on tab because its fast to get to other butoons work like q or e if ut not using the screen rotate thing but be carful not to nexus and miss all the loot which is why my nexus is tab also if u get trapped and ur about to die and u think u can make it DONT DO THIS JUST NEXUS 9 TIMES OUT OF 10 U WILL DIE its better to nexus insteand of dieing cause u can always find another dungeon to run
