so hard to farm glands (or even get pots) legit, 0/8, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ items (try getting awesome items, t6+, without stealing or begging)

can someone actually point me towardsa guide for the below average players (pretty much players who have no pots) cus like, the chances of dying to a defence pot mob is pretty high, and not to mention that u easily get surrounded, so how the heck are u supposed to farm?

all these guides say not to get surrounded, not to take risks, but how the ♥♥♥♥ are u supposed to farm when u just nexus as soon as u see 5 mobs in ur screen.
is there even a guide that tells us what to die after you die, if u have no pots & no appropriate weapons.
rotmg is pretty much a p2w game, there are no pros with only 1 chest in the vault, and one character slot.
cant they just have like, a crafting system that makes some misc items (skins, cloth, chests, particle effects, vanity and the likes)

Use wizard, it's pretty good long-range class for farming. Try getting T6+ equipment in glands by following the fame train.

Here's how I became "good" at the game, keep good in quotes because good is determind by other players and their defintions, but I can consider myself good or at least decent at the game.

Tip 1: Rebind your nexus key to something like E or F, I use F

Tip 2: Use screen rotation, makes dodging and hitting enemies easier.

Tip 3: Use the wiki to learn the shot patterns, or play the game and watch how a god fires.

Tip 4: Try not to teleport to the GLands all the time, you could very well teleport to a place that can instantly kill you.

Tip 5: Max your Stats in this order: Speed/Dex depends on your class, Def/Atk, Wis/Vit. I usually drink most of the stat pots I find, unless I have excess, then I trade them away for some decent teir loot.

Tip 6: When you go to trade, use a price guide to kind of help gather what is worth X. Also, if you're the buyer be prepare to pay more. If you're the seller, try to ask for a little bit more.

Tip 7: IF YOUR HEALTH DROPS TO 1/2 AND YOU'RE IN A REAL ♥♥♥♥♥♥ AREA, NEXUS.

Tip 8: IF YOU'RE IN GLANDS AND YOUR HEALTH DROPS TO 2/5s or 1/4 NEXUS. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY.

Dude, Shady knows whats up. I do the exact same thing. I NEVER have pots stored. NEVER. Here is how I do it:
1a. Read Bluenosers wizard guide and pot farming guide. Bluenosersguide.weebly.com
1b. Level your character up to 7
2. Teleport to a very crowded spot in the godlands
3. You're a wizard, right?
4. Kill your rogue and select wizard, noob.
5. Repeat steps 1 and 2
6. Stay near a crowd, soak up that team xp
7. Check all bags you see
8. Aquire T8 staff and robe (this takes time)
9. Aquire level 20
10. Farm godlands by yourself
11. Get your first pot (if it is anything except def, skip the next step) (if it is def, skip step 13 and buy the ring when you get a pot other than def)
12. Drink it
13. Go on realmeye.com and look to buy a good hp ring (paramount)
14. Continue to farm godlands
15. After you have drank at least 3 def pots and grabbed some good gear, go into the white portal that drops from the sprite god (the purple dude)
16. Aquire dex
17. Drink dex
18. Max dex
19. Farm godlands
20. Max your def (this also takes time)
21. This game takes time
22. Read up on bluenosers guide about all the dungeons
23. All of them. Please, its for your own good
24. Go into an Undead Lair
25. Drink dat wis pot baby
26. Repeat steps 24 and 25 until your wis is maxed
27. Begin buying some good gear. T11 robe, T11 or T10 staff, T4 spellbomb
28. Trade pots you get for other pots such as spd, vit, and lastly att.
29. Become 6/8, which means 6 out of your 8 stats have been maxed
30. Continue farming the godlands and storing your potions.

Look, I understand this game isn't noob friendly, but you can progress way pass being a noob. On the surface it may seem like a fast paced bullethell, but it's not all that fast paced. Unreal Tournament and Quake are faster than this. That's besides the point though, what I'm trying to say is this isn't like most F2P where everything or a lot of ♥♥♥♥ has very stiff grind and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ paywall. It's actually easy to get your gear, even as a close up class, it just takes practice.

I may have a ton of time on this game, but compared to others I'm still a noob. However, you can and I mean it you can reach a level where you're not going to die soon, with any character, rouge being the exception. It just takes time and practice like with any game. I just did the research because I wanted to know what dropped from what, so I could find out where to get items. But, doing so I found out how gods attack and all that good stuff.

All, I'm saying is just put practice into the game, so you can get good. I gave you my knowledge that I gathered from playing over a course of a time period and I'm happy with that knowledge. So, just give it time and practice yo.

You aren't getting attached to your characters, because you haven't felt the sorrow of losing an 8/8 yet.

Follow what Shady said, but not down to every detail.

Get a friend who wants to play priest, and duo events or dungeons together.

Once you learn the attacks of enemies, you will be able to dodge.

Honestly, it's all about experience. And not loot/UT's items... If i started a PPE i'm sure i could get 6/8 quite quickly especially with a class like wizard. Keep in mind that gods are really predictable and yet after a while playing you realize how to easily dodge any gods.

For example:

Medusa: If she's alone, turn around her real close and she'll miss every shot, and if you're ranged strafe left and right while evading bombs and going between shots.

Ent: He'll predict where you go, so turning around him won't work, you gotta keep changing direction in timing with his shots.

Leviathan: Worse one to deal with when 0/8, turn around and dodge until he runs in parrallel with you without aiming directly at you (or you'll get rekt)

etc...

Always watch your mini map, and use no-auto-center and camera movement, mini map helps to check if gods are coming around you.

Cems are REALLY good for 0/8's, lots of medium-high tier loot, pots...

When you got decent gear (+t10 weapon/armor, +T4 ult, T3+ ring), just do sprites. max your dex, then try working on your speed (snake pits, go high lands) and THEN do abysses. The first ones will be hard and take some time, but then it'll get quicker and quicker. If you're careful you won't die, just care at intersections they can really be dangerous.

At some point you'll get to 6/8, it's all about time. Then the best course of action is to either save pots or make an other char which can take over if your original one died, that helps a lot for the hole i'm-so-depressed-coz-my-6/8-died-and-i'm-poor-now. In fact i die quite often with my 6/8's but i accumulate enough loot so that it doesnt matter too much at all.

If you have enough of a bank to buy good stuff for a knight, thats the best way to go to rebuild a 6/8. It's hard at first but then it's sooo easy to stack pots when you're 6/8.
