Or you can just play every class and find out which is the best for you.
Paladin - close range class, good DEF, but lacks the damage of Warriors (berserk, and Knights have high ATT) and Knights (shield attacks). Also, Sword class items are hella expensive so I don't think a beginner would like to try one, since they'll die a lot and lose a lot.
Warrior - quite similar to the Paladin, but with less defence and generally less survivability, although his DPS is just insane. People often quit when they see a Warrior enter a dungeon since they probably won't get any loot.
Priest - the safest class in RotMG. Cheap, strong heals, as well as good MP and WIS, make him pretty much invincible.
The downside is that Priests have the lowest DPS in all of RotMG, making it really hard to get loot in non-solo dungeons.
Sorcerer: High group damage, decent defensive capabilities
Knight: High single-target damage, the best defensive capabilities (unless a warrior has jugg)
Warrior: Very high single-target damage, good defensive capabilities (the best with jugg)
Ninja: High group damage, decent defensive capabilities, very high speed
Rogue: High single-target damage (especially solo), low defensive capabilities uncloaked
Archer/Huntress: High single-target/group damage, low defensive capabilities, ability to paralyze
Paladin: High single-target damage, high(very with a seal buff active) defensive capabilities
Basically, it's pick your poison. Every class has an upside and a downside.
Well, you cannot really say Archer / Huntie have such low defensive capabilities, they use leather armour, not robes... with a maxed DEF Archer / Huntie you can mow down Realm Gods with plenty of room for error -w-
Also, I don't really see any defensive capabilties of Sorc except for his high VIT.
I completely agree about any others. cx
Its my personal opinion though
Correct me if I'm wrong, although it takes a little more time to max defense first...i find it worth it.
ASSASSIN: medium group damage (special), low defense, high rate of fire, high speed, low
wisdom, medium vitality
- usually works well with priest, paladin, and/or archers
- needs only a little practice to use ( just like every other class)
- pets with magic heal help a ton
-sorry i'm no expert on pets, I know that by personal experience cause i only
have one pet (Common Duck)
- for dungeons...not good, unless with friends
- Usually i have trouble with managing my health
Those are my thoughts on this class. The other class i really like is the Necromancer Class
although i don't use it as much. After Necro. i use Wizard and then Knight. But those are the only classes i see fit my play-style.
If you are new....First thing you MUST do...find your personal play-style and the class that fits that. My recomondation, play all the classes and see which one you like and NEVER forget that playing with friends of DIFFERENT classes really makes a difference and even makes playing a much more fun and different experience.
Hope someone found this helpful,
