Not just steam users then... -.- Do they know how many people play this game? Like people are probably getting extremly upset because of this.

They could let people still play & have a chance of losing valuable stuff in their vault, or they can prevent that chance from happening & just shut down the game for maintenance. I think they chose the lesser of two evils.
