Other games like RotMG?

I love RotMG's art style, and how combat feels, but I just can't deal with the perma-death mechanics. Maybe I'm not "gamer" enough, but I think a game like RotMG just without perma-death would be a really fun experience. I'd be okay with a slower leveling process and getting gear slower (which would make sense, without perma-death).

Just the idea of a top-down bullet hell RPG is really cool on paper. I just don't need the perma-death stuff, I'm not a masochist.

I feel like Terraria is comparable. Mostly based around dodging, just as a platformer instead of a top down game, with the similar need to farm special accessories and weapons. Calamity mod is especially intense with it's bosses.
