but on to what most of what this topic is mostly about. Though I don't 100% agree with OP. I to find it concerning as Fuga only came out last year, and this due to come out next year. So I'm not expecting much in terms of new gameplay mechanics. And well I would of like to go back to the mechas, or (and pardron the pun here) have some aerial dog fighting. Or at the very lest, more story of Baion . As I doubt Fuga 2 is going give anything about that.
Um... Then would you like to present your evidence to the class? Point out the screenshots where new mechanics are displayed and tell us what they are.
What's the difference? They're dead anyway.
https://twitter.com/Fuga_CC2_en/status/1552508130768355328 The appearance of money, the ability to call for air support, as well as a new system for obtaining skills, something similar was in Dragon Age II
Story-wise... It sounds like you're judging it based on past entries, being light and campy much of the time. Those moments still exist somewhat in bond conversations, but not in the general storyline, of course. It's kind of a taste issue? It doesn't seem that the trilogy is going to have much in the way of fluff outside those silly introductions masking the pain of orphan situations. Wanting more of before sort of feels like you aren't judging Fuga on its own merits, its own storytelling. I'd like to see where this all goes.
There was no money in the first part. Air support will add more opportunities to think, especially since this is part of the new mechanics, they generally say that the overall gameplay has been improved

Maybe I'm naïve to believe it's possible, but I do trust CC2 wants it just as badly as the fans do. I'm gonna do my best to support Fuga 2
