Split Fiction error 108.0

I can't connect to the lobby, it gives the error 108.0

The game was purchased in steam, a friend connects through ea. I create a lobby through ea, and invite him, "The other player has left the session. Result Code: 108-0"

How to solve the problem?

If you're still having this problem make sure the other person is downloading the friend pass from steam. I was having the same issue because I bought the game from steam and my girlfriend downloaded the friend pass from the EA app. Now we're both playing it on Steam and haven't had this error since.
