Desync

We are playing the game while one person is using the friends pass. Usually the Desync doesn't interfere with the game play but at the factory (where you need to put a shield breaker on the moving boxes to break a different shield) the desync has made it impossible to proceed.

Any suggestions? We don't mind skipping some content to proceed but it wont even let us do that
