but it works like remote play, right?
So a friend can play with my graphic settings, because her computer is really bad (office pc)

And over remote play together, everything works from my computer, even on max settings and she has no gpu.

I don´t know how the friends pass works.
It this the same or does she have her own settings?
So she can´t play it or maybe on very low?

No, it's not like remote play. The other person has to download and install the Friend's pass, which is basically the same game you have on your PC, but without the access to play the full game without playing with someone that has the full game.

The Game will still run fully on their PC, so if they have a bad PC, they will have to reduce the graphic settings. They still have to satisfy the minimal requirements for the game.

Remote play is one PC runs the game and the other only uses an internet connection to send inputs and receive video. This is not the case here.
Alright thank you very much!
So there is no remote play together feature?
We played for an example the dark picture games with this.
Everything runs on my computer and she has only his own monitor, with my settings.
(Remote play together)

But that´s not playable like that, right?
I mean, the Dark Picture games have a friends pass too, which don´t work anymore.
BUT you can still play it over the other way.
I splitted the ingame characters to us, so we have control over our own chars.

And this is not possibe here?

Your both can play on your PC with different controllers or controller + keyboard/mouse.
Sorry but I don´t know how to start with remote play (not friends pass).
I invited her, I can give her full control over keyboard or mouse, but you have these four icons in remote play for different players.
They are all greyed out and I don´t know if I can give her one of these "player positions" to control the second char.
If you have gotten that far I think the issue may be steam not detecting a controller on your friend's device. You can see here that my friend has a little controller symbol next to the keyboard and mouse.

If that symbol is there for you, all you need to do is drag the controller symbol onto one of the 4 slots. it can be a little touchy and slow to update but should work.

If the symbol isn't there, then your best bet is to have your friend check their settings (Settings > Controller) to make sure that steam has detected the controller, and if not troubleshoot that.

But it working wiith remote play?

Because I only know from the dark pictures games that you can´t play at the same time.
We shared one mouse.
But I need to say it´s not a splitscreen game.

So, it works without friend pass and over remote play, right?

I´ll try it next days again.

Remote Play Together works in this game if your partner's computer is too potato to use friend's pass. However one player needs to use controller, while the other player can use mouse+keyboard or controller.

So, both with controller isn´t working?
Why insist on not using the friend pass? It's better in every way.

The second player has a PC that is not up to par, so it won't be able to run the friend pass

My fiancée's daughter ran it on a 1060 at high graphics, this must be an ancient device from the 2000s.

And a good friend has a little sister and I play with her video games like minecraft.
Her computer has no GPU, only integrated.
And I don´t think that she will run it without a gpu ^^
