AI gen art??

I am enjoying the game with someone but I've stumbled upon poster art in one of the chapters that looks very AI generated, Dev's what's up with the Erday-Coffee poster is this part of the gimmick or undisclosed AI?

Doesn't look AI generated to me. Doesn't have that highly distinct shading that AI art has, and there's a lot of artwork that looks like this. It's a somewhat common artstyle for in-game advertisement stuff.

i am playing through the game a second time so i inspected the picture ingame they all have that style so why would that all be ai art ? does not make sense

Ok i understand your point but keeping traditional artist in a team cost both time and resources where using a AI is fast and very cheap and give the same outcome traditional artist produce.

Agreed , but before that , they should "retire" those people with those skills earlier!!! sounds crazy right ? but I think we agree that protection for people who worked years if not decades (most artists in AAA companies have years of experience before even getting hired there) matter more than a fast efficient way right ? right ???

Pay them a salary for taking their job away, that's why there are rumors about unemployment salary which will happen eventually but if done wrong it means average Joe with 0 skills will be paid just like the artist who spent years learning it, which again, means no protection for real artists

If money doesn't flow , inflation happens so fast, even on smaller scales, people should pay for art , but look at Ai...

Also, ALL Ais are built on theft! they learnt from people without their consent, they learn from YouTube videos and literally anything available online, if you steal someone's work and then give it to a machine to do it cheap in fast, should it be allowed ? no, doesn't matter how faster or cheaper it is, it is theft, even Gemini which is owned by Google does that (being a creator, we ONLY get to choose that if we wanna allow 3rd party Ais to learn from our YT videos, but we don't get to choose if we want Gemini to learn from our content or not! who's there to say they won't mix up personalities and make dozens of channels in lets say 5 years to get rid of us ?! and trust me, if they can replace art, whatever you do as a job will be next! for example most doctors can be replaced, delivery drivers, drivers, cooks, police officers, and so on, people not showing sensitivity to this art side of things means they won't be caring later on when Ai and robots take away the jobs one by one, not even trying to exaggerate)

The only replies here worth reading is speculation on if it isn't or is AI art, everyone else is just clowning on behalf of the destruction of the arts and their desire for automation of creativity which is just a fantasy, so don't pay them attention

The whole theme of this game is that stealing other peoples work for generative ai is bad.
This picture looks like some quickly made art, its just a minor detail in a long game, so probably fast work and not ai. Not everything is ai.
Its getting to the point where "everything is ai" is the default assumption.

I feel this because this is exact art that I said 'This has 4 fingers is this AI?' and I was playing Zoe too haha. But if you look closely index finger is kinda blended with the hair. It's dark so hard to see.
(edit) If you mean the art style I'm not sure. It looks closer to cyberpunk game's in game art.

Do you not see the bigger problem with this? They are testing the waters now with AI to slowly get consumers to be okay with it. Then one day, artists and voice actors are all out of a job because it is cheaper and easier to do AI.

AI exists and is here to stay, regardless of our opinion of it. It can only recreate what it sees, not innovate new art or ideas. It's up to content creators to step above the curve of AI, and it's our job as consumers to hold them liable to that commitment. AI in art and media is a celebration of mediocrity and the only way to stop it is to change the mindset of society to stop celebrating it, otherwise AI is the new normal.

Yeah, maybe it was the goal here to at least look AI generated. I don't think they made a game this huge and unique and then decided a single poster is too much effort.^^

Since the game is about getting stuck inside self's imagination wrote into fiction so i'd say ai gen art has a plausible theory behind it. Not a big deal to me
