There's composition problems, how the hair is layered, the general "plastic" vibe that's common with generative "art", the arm placement...etc
Games that have *any* gen"ai" content have to be flagged on steam, so I want to know if this is just something that feels generative but isn't, or if the devs haven't labeled it as such.

Ok
That's why , AI slope like this , has been learnt from real artist's work and considering these companies are huge and can pay artists, it's so low to fire them/ not hire them again to pay less by doing AI slope pics like this (keep in mind, wallpapers and pics in games are the cheapest form of art in the games, if they do AI for the cheapest stuff, imagine what they will do in 5 years...whole game is gonna be generated by AI, look up smantha maxis's voice in BO6, so soulless, even their new characters like Terminator are all AI voiced and don't have a soul! yes, terminator is a robot himself but even in that case his voice is o off, they also added a new loading screen pic which had santa with 6 fingers cause it was AI!! waanna talk about "whats wrong with AI" you gotta start from morality if you have any which I hope you do)
The people who's art it got trained on didn't get paid for it.
I understand we're very passionate about boundaries especially when it comes to artist but this post is seeking clarity over contempt, especially when uncertainty can be strong and compelling, my hope is it either brings it to the Devs attention or the Devs provide clarity to steams standards of informing people buying the game that such content does or doesn't exist and maybe even a third outcome
Ok so do all artist pay every other artist? Because all artists 'train' by using other artists art.
Obviously there is a difference between an artist being inspired by the work of another and going on to create another, unique piece of art, and the mass reaving of material by LLM algos which are unable to really produce anything original at all.
For the record, I feel the same about people who just trace over other peoples art, change the colour and call it "Original work" too.
Ok i understand your point but keeping traditional artist in a team cost both time and resources where using a AI is fast and very cheap and give the same outcome traditional artist produce.
BTW, I'm not for or against AI art, if it looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥ I won't play it, but claiming every training dataset is like SD is a disingenuous argument. I think Steam's disclosure requirement is a sufficient compromise, funny that AAA seems to keep breaking that rule and not getting punished. One would think it would be the bottomfeeders.
Oh also, I don't think this image is the smoking gun OP thinks it is. It's competently made, if not particularly appealing.
