Please add matchmaking
Yea i know they tell you about discord, but i dont wanna rely on a third party programm just to be able to play the game. What would be even better, if they add a single player mode.

I understand your concerns, but this is the type of game which was designed around coop-play and the human interactions that comes with it. No AI could replace that at the moment, since it would be too artificial and would also make the game too easy. It is the type of game where puzzle solving and the occasional failures are the core elements of the gameplay and the fun which comes with it. Without these it would become very boring and dull very fast, since an AI mate would just solve and tackle any challenge without fail. The same devs made the other brilliant title called 'It Takes Two', and it's also coop based. That's their niche. The matchmaking part is a tough one as well, on one hand it would be useful, but on the other, at least in my experience, these types of games are best played with someone you know, and probably random ppl jumping in and out, or would just simply ragequit after a couple of failed attempts would just degrade your overall experience with the game.

There is not much to add to JC's comment. He said it better than I ever could.

You can't make a single player game out of this. Co-op is deeply ingrained.

To say it bluntly - find someone to share the whole journey with or skip it for now.
I believe matchmaking would just devalue the whole experience.

There is an abundance of single player games while there are few co-op games especially of this quality and even less games that you can play together locally.
