With a good internet connection is going to be playable for two people very far from each other?

Why wouldn't you just use the Friend Pass...?

Just use friend pass. Basically: the one who bought the game plays (just host the game through steam and wait in lobby) and the other downloads the Friend Pass. SHIFT+TAB to open Steam overlay > Right click on profile picture of the friend owning the game and Join. As easy as that

I think they're asking if there's going to be a lag issue if they're playing with a friend remotely. Basically they want to know how well the game is optimized for remote play, I think.

Use friend pass. I'm playing with someone in another continent and it's playing just fine. No lag.
