Arachnophobia question

It Takes Two was looking to be a fun game, but unfortunately my wife has serious Arachnophobia, to the point that even seeing them in games triggers it. So we had to unfortunately pass it up.

Does this game have any levels like that? I'd love to get something like this for us to play together. (she can't even play satisfactory without the Arachnophobia setting on because of those crawlers reminds her of spiders.)

Not sure if you got an answer to this question somewhere else but it sounds like I am the same amount as arachnophobic as your wife. I’ve been playing Split Fiction with my partner and one of the fantasy levels does have large spider like creatures. I say “spider like” because they are bright orange and have large spiky backs which mostly hide their legs making them look a bit more like beetles if you’re looking at them top down.

On this level, the pink character has the most close up interactions with these spiders so you will want to play this character. For the most part, the green character will look at them from top down. There is one part where the green character shrinks down to go through a small hole and you immediately see spider webs. The green character has to run by one of the spiders as it runs in sort of a loop, this part was definitely a bit distressing for me so if you’re playing couch coop I would suggest taking the controller for this bit. It is a super brief segment. After this part, there is no more spiders. As far as I know at least, we haven’t quite beat the game but I think we’re close.

Altogether I think we got through this part in about 10 minutes. If I can do it she can do it!!
