Is the difficulty as non existent as It takes two and a way out?
I have played all the Hazelight games, but I have only liked their first game (Brothers: A tale of two sons) I played through A way out with one friend and then It takes two with another. I have probably played 1000 hours coop games with these friends and we normally always have a blast playing coop or couch pvp. But the experience with A way out and It takes two was a pure snore fest for us all. There was really zero effort needed to complete these games and they just felt like on rails and honestly sleep inducing.

I get that these games (especially It takes two) seems to be made to be able to play with your child or perhaps your girlfriend who is not so experienced in gaming. But for anyone who is remotely an experience gamer the "difficulty" (If one can even call it that) in the previous two games where a pure joke.

My question really is if this is the same in this game? Is there any choice for a higher difficulty or is it the same banal experience when it comes to zero challenge as A way out and It takes two? Essentially if it is a "kids game" this time around also?

yeah I'm also interested in someone's opinion on that. Very disappointed by It Takes To non-existent challenge. To a point where we didn't even finish it....

Thanks for the answer, confirms it's not made for us ^^"
cheers
The difficulty is very casual. You pretty much hit the nail on the head with "play with your child or perhaps your girlfriend who is not so experienced in gaming".

But for that, it's really great!

You die alot but respawn very close very quickly so no real death penalty makes it seem easy.
The different mechanics are the "difficulty" in the game. Getting used to those (and the crazy # of different configurations of a mechanics) really takes some time, but it is what makes the game great as the game is a real mind eff.
