Is this real?! Please! Let me know!
Well guys...

I know €A is not the dev, but... how can a game published by €A get 98 % positive reviews?!

I never heard about this and now, I am about to buy and give it a try!

This must be REALLY good!

What confuses me is the "split screen"... Do I see that when I play?

I don't know... PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS SO GOOD HERE!

Thank you.

But what happens when I play on my PC with others online? Do I also see a split screen?

It seems that way. From their FAQ:

Whether you're playing with online or local multiplayer, the game will mostly be displayed via a split-screen, although during some parts of the game you'll be shown a full-screen view from further away.

So it seems the split screen is always visible , even if playing online co-op.

Dude, Josef Fares made the game and he is a legend. You should look him up.

It is that good.

Split screen is there most of the time (it changes during the game, depending on context). Was like this with previous Hazelight games too, it's part of the experience.
This game is not playable alone.

Okay, but why is there a split screen? Is it for the gameplay? What is the advantage?

its for gameplay reasons. and sometimes the splitscreen go away. for exaple in boss fights.
While it's published by EA, it's under a different branch of publishing called "EA Originals." What this means is Electronic Arts is providing AA/AAA funding to smaller independent studios to create their own original works. Outside of the money they provide EA has no oversight on the project. The devs have full creative control of their vision and how they choose to utilize the funding.

Konami is even following suit with this. They did the same thing for a new game coming out called Deliver At All Costs.
