Looks amazing, random player with no friends?
Hi, I am 52 and not one of my close friends games. In fact it's the one thing they all kind of think is weird about me (and my love of roller coasters before I had my spinal injury). Unfortunately my best friend Eddie who is 5 years younger who used to come over to game all the time and still would, is living interstate now and doesn't even have a basic laptop, well a weak work laptop he's not allowed to load games on. No Switch even, nothing. Well he told me yesterday he still has his N64 and Mario Kart LOL!

Anyway, I see there's no single player, but the reviews and trailer of this game are off the charts and I would even say exciting to read and watch. I really want to be part of it.

I also have never really bothered making many contacts here. I'll be honest, I am a solitary gamer who generally plays single player action adventures and arcade games.

So keeping all that in mind, is this game worth it to someone in my position, to just get online and play with random people I don't know? Will that work?

The only other online multiplayer only game I have had success with doing so was Fall Guys. I never had a single issue with that with performance/lag/finding tons of randoms to play with, and had a blast, but my experience with other online games in general hasn't been great when it comes to finding random co op.

Now, since I am completely deaf in one ear, I don't use headphones, I use a 2.1 50 watt (rms ) speaker placed on my good side so all stereo sound comes out of one spot and I can hear it with left ear. But that means I haven't been able to play games that require communication cause the only mic I have is on the laptop and obviously the speaker is right next to it. Is this a game that requires real time talking through a mic to tell each other what to do? I suppose if so I could buy a usb headphone mic or something and just put up with one sided deafness.

I just want to experience this one, truly, whilst it's in its peak online user base, and hoping that it would be possible for a single gamer in my situation, so, would love any info, THANK YOU In advance!

The developer made a discord channel to find other players - if you find someone who bought the game you only need the free friend pass.

And if they don't have the game you can still play the beginning with the friend pass and decide if you want to keep going from there.
Thank you

I'll need to consider whether it's viable to play a game that benefits from real time chat, considering my disability. Food for thought for now.

I'm not 100% sure, but It's possible that you could get a headset, and change the audio output from your PC/the game to mono, so you aren't losing any sound that is panned.
