yea definitely, I came here to see if anyone else noticed lol. Theres no way they are all authentic they sound so devised. Too much over the top enthusiastic praise glazing the devs its weird. like "hazelight studios is the best!", "hazelight is the best developer in the gaming industry right now!", "GOTY its hazelight!" "i knew this would be the best game ever because its hazelight!" lmao like come on it sounds ridiculous...all with .1 hr played. Most gamers couldn't even tell you who hazelight is if you asked them and i didn't know myself until i read the reviews lmao

This happens in all reviews for Steam... Do you have a problem with those games played for that amount of time and are negative? I would guess not, as you didnt include it in your examples... So what is the real reason you have an issue with this game?

I dont have any issue with the game, i found it kinda sus.

I think they're sus because how can you call it game of the year if you only played for 6 minutes? Or the best Coop game out there if it probably takes more than 6 minutes to even get past the intro or something.

This developer(I should say, not publisher.. my bad) has a history of making solid co-op games tho....

Yes, very sus, don't play this game, stay away, don't have fun, also avoid every other game with great reviews, you've figured it out, I suggest going into the woods near you, find a stick and play with that.

Like, seriously, Hazelight's track record is excellent, price of the game is very reasonable, you can play with friends without them paying, no mtx, no pre-order bonus, no early access, a demo (via the pass). Yet we still get threads like this. Just wait a few days until the score settles if you are unsure. My god, gamers.

People make reviews based on various reasoning, and to focus on something you might consider "sus" for whatever reason in the Steam reviewing process is somewhat laughable.

sorry but im one of those "guys" who gave a positive review even i hvn't played the game yet, ngl i fkn love it takes two, so im kinda biased here lol, but i hope its as good as or better than it takes two

(will change my review to negative if its bad tho)

FYI you can download the friend pass and try the early stages of the game for FREE before buying it, instead of speculating if the game is good or bad in this discussion page and wasting your time to find your answer

It tells me that this game follows a marketing strategy and the reviews were pending the release. This also neatly highlights the lack of common sense y'all operate with.
