Can't play with family sharing
Hello. I have this game in my Family Sharing library, but I can't play it... When I open the game, it says "buy the full game" or "play the demo". Isn't it possible to play directly from a friend's library? Thanks!

I own the game, but when my sister (in my family share) try to play with a friend, it says she only have the friend pass

EDIT:
Ok I found the solution, it seem she download the friend pass before I bought the game.
So she **owned** the friend pass, even if she uninstalls it.
And of course, since the friend pass and the original game is the same, launching the game will open the one with the license she own.

To fix this, you need to go on steam support: https://help.steampowered.com/fr/wizard/HelpWithGame, then remove the license of the game

is the owner playing it too? Download a friend pass and let him invite you if that's the case

He is not playing :( But he is also not the friend I want to play with hahahaha 🙃
same issue.

You need the leave Family sharing for play
or create new steam acc for this if you want to play with your family
Basically what I did is I downloaded the full game through library sharing then both me and the main account who owns the game (My fiance) Launched the game. When I launched the game it showed friend pass version for me and full game for him.

You dont need to leave family sharing to play. You can both download ur family library game. But the person who are not the main owner needs to go to the store page and claim the friend pass version, then you will be able to launch the game

It still doesn't work :( A friend of mine has the full version, and I want to use that version (which is in our family sharing) to play with another friend. But when I open the game, it says it's the friend pass, not the full game.

I have already claimed the friend pass but it still doesn't recognize the version that I have as the full one :(
