will friends pass be released on release?

How does Friend Pass work? Does it require any additional install of a software or something? or is it in steam?

In steam .. you will send it to your friend who will install it too on steam and then invite him

You will find all the info on update news on release day

its simple, u just head to steam store page for the friends pass copy of the game and u download it
no need to install any additional software
u can download it once its released, no need to wait for any1 to invite u

there is nothing to send :)
any1 can start downloading the friends pass copy of the game the moment it releases
then u need invitation from someone who owns the game to be able to play with him
but for download, nothing is needed

I tried to download the friend´s pass just now, the download window opened, but I didn't have enough memory on my computer. I cleared the memory and now steam can't add the friend´s pass to my library, I can't download it
