Linux Bug (spoilers possibly)

Seriously spoilers ahead.

My partner and I have been playing since Friday the 14th and have clocked in maybe 12+ hours. Everything about the game, (seriously everything), mechanics, visuals, story are all incredibly intuitive and extraordinary. But, today, March 17th, we may have discovered a bug while fighting evil Mio.

There is a part while fighting her, we've got to stab the scythe back into Mio. We're told to press or tap Y (we assumed it was tapping Y) but no matter what we did, we just couldn't. It was the only time throughout the entire game we died maybe 20 times in a row. We got no indication on making any progress. It was ridiculous and it really bothered us.

I can't say for sure this is the solution but we both tapped Y as slow as snails and that seemed to work.

We've never run into another bug like it, before or since. I'm not sure if this is known but it was so frustrating, it almost tanked our opinion on an otherwise excellent game. Maybe that one part needs a little more love?

If anyone else found this thread, trying to find the answer, just like us after multiple tries :
Only the player playing Zoe has to press the button for the QTE.
The Mio player, should NOT press any button : because this player is actually controlling Evil Mio, pressing the button will do the opposite and push the scythe towards Zoe.

We played again and this time switching characters we figured it out. We looked at each other like we were deers in headlights and we cracked up.
