Is an SSD Required for this Game?

I've got one, but it doesn't have enough space for this game, Can I get away with running this game on an HDD or will I encounter technical issues? (Beyond longer loading times)

No it's not required. I had it on my SSD for a time but needed the space for something else so transferred it over to my HDD. Obviously maps load slightly faster on SSD but the actual game play is unaffected.

if you want you can download each 4 game modes separately, they are around 30GB each. so for example, if you only want to download multiplayer you can.
campaign: 29GB
multiplayer: 39GB
spec ops: 40GB
survival: 32GB

also there is a setting called on demand texture streaming which downloads the textures so things load in faster, you can disable this it will just take a bit longer to load. it can eat up a few gigabytes if left on

its fine on HDD i dont remember this cod being over 200gb either, last time i played it was like 115gb - - but loading times depending on your hdd this game is somewhat instant
