I keep crashing in the mission The Wolf's Den

My game keeps crashing everytime Farah pulls me up onto the beam saving me from falling into the fire.
I have tried to no avail:
- Restarting the mission
- Restarting the game and PC
- Reinstalling the game
- Reinstalling steam
- Validating the files 3-5 times
I think the problem lies with some corrupted files. When validating local files it always says '912 files failed to validate and will be reacquired' and its about 96gb. Even after reinstalling the game, validating the files keeps comes up with this. Also for some reason after it finishes validating, when I launch the game it says update needs a restart.
What should I do?

I have the same problem. I finished this mission. Went to bed and now the game won't load. I kept trying to fix it but can't even load the game! Will there be a patch do you think?

There was an update around a few weeks ago, when it finished installing I was able to finish the wolfs den. However, in the next mission it just crashed when the general tased me. When that happened, I just gave up and haven't played it since.
