MW2019, Cold War or Vanguard?
So, I was waiting for these games to finally hit Steam and as always, my patience paid off. But I can only afford one of the three. Since I am a collector anyway, I will get all three eventually, but right now I don't know which one I should buy first.

Modern Warfare is a game that I've bought on BattleNet already and I did quite enjoy it. It's easily one of my favourites and I liked the characters very much. But because of the disc space, the need for Warzone and the constant updates kinda ruined it for me, so I hope those issues have been resolved with the Steam version now. From what I heard Warzone is no longer part of MW19 on Steam, so that's already a huge selling point for me.

Black Ops Cold War is another game I already bought on BattleNet and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I'm not sure if I like it more than MW19, but it's easily up there. It felt different in a good way. A plus is also that it doesn't eat up quite as much disc space (though still a lot) and it doesn't update quite as often before I can finally play. Though I hope that's even less of an issue in the steam version.

Vanguard is easily the least favourite choice in the community and I fully understand why. In fact it was the only COD game I didn't buy on BattleNet, so I have no personal experience with the game, yet I do plan on buying and trying it out eventually. I always liked COD the most when it took place during WW2 and despite the political sh*t they pulled in the story it still looks kinda fun, which is all I ask for really.

So I was hoping you guys would help me (and each other) with the decision making.

Edit: I noticed that in this forum in particular there are a number of "stop liking what I hate" people, who are much less helpful than the people in other forums. If you can't recommend any of the three games above, then don't bother commenting. You will be blocked.

MW
-Multiplayer maps kinda suck/ get ready to see a lot of middle eastern/ desert themed maps
-COOP is pretty dead unless if you have people to play with
-Campaign is pretty good
-SBMM is still a problem but not as bad as CW
-Still pretty active in general
-Doesn't run like ♥♥♥♥ most of the time
CW
-Multiplayer maps suck less/ map themes have more variety compared to MW
-Zombies is okay, but pretty barebones compared to previous black ops titles ( still better than Vanguard)
-Campaign is pretty good as well
-SBMM is way stronger than in MW for some reason
-Active but you might have to wait some time if you're searching for specific gamemodes other than TDM and FFA
-Performance optimization is a hit or miss sometimes.

If you care more about multiplayer then get MW, but if you care about multiplayer equally with zombies then get CW

EDIT: forgot to mention that CW isn't a disc space hog unlike MW

I wasn't asking for what other games you think I should play. If you dislike all three COD games then don't bother responding here.

Why would I not bother telling you that you are buying bags full of sh.it not only twice every year but apparently since you then go on to buy the same bag full of sh.it 2 to 3 times it seems more like you are buying at least 6 bags full of sh.it per year.
I find that concerning for your health, but also I don't like my stores having 60% of their entire stock of products being literal bags full of sh.it just because you keep going there to buy them

Because the question is which one of the three I should buy first. Not what you think I should play instead of the three above or what you think about my health or what you like your library to look like.

Okay in that case Escape from Tarkov, even tho this will not be for everyone.

Maybe start with Hunt Showdown first. Cheaper aswell.

Not an option and you know it.

Um.. no? Not really sure what you are talking about. Escape from Tarkov has a pretty steep price, but since its one time only and since you apparently buy 6 call of dutys per year it shouldnt be a problem ?

I gave you three choices: MW19, Cold War or Vanguard. If I was interested in getting Tarkov, I would be getting Tarkov. I may even get Tarkov in the future. But right now it's a choice between these three COD games. If your answer is to pick something else then get lost.

Not sure what this has to do with the topic.

It was just very, very fitting.

Thx.

I would recommend you to save the money and buy other games. I know the feeling of need to spend money when the 50 % off is there. But to be honest, the game is not even worth that price drop.

Instead I would recommend you to save the money for upcoming good games or perhaps buy older games that you have not played yet, that are considered masterpieces, for less.
