Achievements
If I have some of the in-game achievements earned on Battle.net, and I buy/launch the game on Steam, will those achievements automatically transfer over to Steam? Like, will those achievements "auto-pop" once the game is launched and the userdata/records are loaded?

If they don't sync, In your case, I recommend using Steam Achievement Manager to unlock them. You earned em fair and square.

nah, that will make your account get flagged on various third party sites, so you will be openly marked as a cheater for everyone who cares.

I have the same question though, gonna buy the game on Steam again soon, but already got a bunch of achievements on it over at battle.net.

LMK what you find out, if you don't mind.

I honestly wouldn't mind doing them all over again, except for the one "Liberation - Complete all Special Operations missions."

Ain't no way in hell I am doing that again. Those were too grueling.

I am assuming since I unlocked the Zane operator back then, I must have gotten this achievement in-game, but I am going to go back and check before I commit.

Achievements unlock if you've earned them on battlenet. If you look at the reviews of people who own in on another platform. Someone who wrote a review for vanguard has already unlocked level 55 and max operator with less than an hour of game time.

In game stuff isn't relevant as those are synced but Steam achievements aren't being synced if you look at their profiles and achievements for the game.

AFAIK, it seems like the only achievements that are auto-popping for these "new on Steam" CoD games are the achievements that are triggered by online/multiplayer stats. Since the online/multiplayer stats are synced with the existing Activision account, it makes sense with regard to some of the Vanguard achievements that some people on Steam already have.

However, AFAIK, MW2019 does not have any achievements that are triggered by online/multiplayer stats. Rather, all the MW2019 achievements are triggered by what I assume is local player data, and/or save data, which is not automatically transferred from Battle.net. (Such as campaign progression.)

So, the next logical question is: Is it possible to transfer the local player data / save data from the Battle.net version of MW2019 to the Steam version of MW2019? If so, that would probably cause the relevant achievements to auto-pop on Steam.

The only achievement I am unsure about is the one "Liberation - Complete all Special Operations missions." I would've assumed that that info/data is synced with the Activision account, since it's an online/multiplayer mode (and would therefore auto-pop), but maybe not. (Most people probably don't have that achievement anyways.)

Maybe I will try to check/test this stuff later.

Very curious of a site that flags you as a cheater please show us this site you so on so know of as nobody knows of it. Achievements on an account do not flag someone for "cheating" id love to see this because if youre saying that people on console can be called cheaters too. Show your proof or it doesnt exist.

Astats is one of the only sites I can find as a mentioned achievement flagger. I would love to see these sites youre talking about.

Anyone can add anything new to this debate?
I got MW3 through Game Pass for a couple of weeks and I'm wondering whether the campaign and zombies achievements that I earn here will carry over to Steam once I buy it there.

This is the MW19 game hub, not the Call of Duty HQ game hub.

DOES ANYONE HAVE AN ACTUAL ANSWER TO THIS?? Do they popup. Yes or no?
Been searching on the web for 15 minutes now... Nobody actually gave a clear answer.
