They've been asking about it for a while. It's been in the last few surveys. They're well aware of the demand.

No need for English voices. They will just screw or change the translation.

I always tell them to NOT bring dub back in those surveys. And people should do the same, to prevent the dubtitles to ever come back to Atelier.

Money for sure. That said, I like the original voices anyway. They do not over exagerate them, at least, it's reasonable.

Niche as it is, the Atelier series seems to be doing fine without the dubbing. If money and budget weren't an issue, then maybe english could have been added. Would it benefit from eng dubbing? maybe or maybe not. Can't wait to see what they do with the next game. Hope it ends up being fun.
Plus there's the danger of them going as cheap with the dub as they did with Dynasty Warriors 9. That dub is the cringiest thing I've heard because I swear half of it is probably just employees doing the voices.

It also has a Chinese dub option that's just as bad, though I suspect a lot of that is it being hard to find Chinese voice actors in Japan/willing to work with Japanese companies.

Because dub are usually terrible (usually being the keyword) . Made doubly so now that we are in the woke era.

Quite frankly, dubs are not worth it on so many levels that to put them there is a stupid business decision.

if the game have only English voice and no original Japanese I wouldn't buy the game. that is how bad the voice is. and that's the prove this series doesn't need Eng voice.
Honestly the far bigger issue with this game is that the subtitles are tiny and hard to read due to the background sometimes.

Hoping someone can make a mod for the PC version or KT gives us the ability to adjust the size.
That's a completely seperate issue and it's weird that Ryza 2 has the option but this one doesn't.

No, the biggest issue is that they use different buttons for "confirm" and "normal attack".

If that's the biggest issue with the game, it must be amazing.

I kind of agree that the skits are very hard to read. First they are small, and second they don't stay very long. Star Ocean did pausable skits, maybe that's a solution, but even then, I remember being bored of the excessive skits moments.

It used to not be an issue before. These games were being dubbed. That's why these topics keep popping up.

It was just bad all around. It's like they're afraid to actually spend money to help make their products better. Everything they do just screams cheap.

its koei
they are the king of cheap
they've been releasing a new reskin of the same game for almost 20 years (dynasty warriors& its spin offs), crappy anime licenced games that they spent a budget of 15 dollars on
