This game is neat, but inventory management is hell
most games like this allow you manually adjust the order of items in the inventory, as well as having some logical options, such as alphabetical or rarity. but i imagine most people prefer the same thing as myself; a logical default order for items. something like; restoratives -> cures -> battle items -> puppet parts -> books, etc. final fantasy had this one figured out over 20 years ago with 5.

it is a HUGE pain in the ass having to scroll through pages and pages to find jitter bugs, or a particular ailment cure. nvm it is aggravating having a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of an inventory.

please devs, if yer watching these forums, update with additional item sort options and a default sort order that is functional and reasonable.

If you think that's bad wait until you hit the 800 limit cap and have to start getting rid of stuff. It's a pain in the ass since you don't want to throw anything away, but have to.

It is frustrating but you get used to it. Trick is to stay ahead of it.. Refrain was so much worse because it required 8 slots for weapon upgrade for ideal outcomes so you'd have mounds of junk waiting for your next upgrade.

With this game anything that has 0 durability goes straight to disassembly. The rares with durability I throw all common similar items into it. Once I have all the junk out, I sort by rarity legends on top, and do the same thing with items so all healing/battle items are listed first.

Then just do this process every couple runs. So instead of tons things to look through after neglecting it for a long time, you're staying ahead of it knowing all your new stuff is at the bottom.

You reach 3k limit cap quite early into the game... even if you don't bother cleaning inventory - you won't really need to beyond maybe selling white quality garbage... and there are settings to autodestroy those if you don't want to bother anyway. Those cost quite low anyway.

Not using meat and bumping it's drop rate is a big issue I would say.
Meat alone can easily take 300+ slots by just killing stuff and not using it. And there is honestly very little reason to use it.

I think the UI is awful in general. The developers probably never heard of ergonomics. (It was the same in Refrain, and this game has even more stuff to keep track of).
If this game sells and they announce a sequel, I hope they do something about it.

Ya thats fair, I definitely started to notice it more once I needed to grind again with tier 2 meat find. It just sounds like something you have to try and do before the apartments tho lmao
