I'm not saying I don't care about winning, I just don't care to gamble on the outcome. From someone that's hit Infinite I can confirm that the reward isn't worth the effort if you find it stressful. I do think that it's worth it to grind out level 90 tho. 500 gold is worth it.
They need a game mode that is either High Voltage or something similar that's available all the time. Just minus the many bugs that came with it. Sheesh.
And the snapping is fine. It's a core part of the game. Don't like it, go play something else. Do you also whine about people who raise in Poker? ( Directed at some of the replies, not OP )
Well as someone that's played a whole lot of poker, no of course not. The problem is those two things aren't comparable. Snap has a game with an objective built in, win two lanes. There's so much that's possible with all of the card abilities, location effects, and the core game objective. Snap without the snapping has a whole lot of game left. Having a mode that uses the snap mechanic would be fine if it weren't the primary game mode. I like Dead Pools Diner in fact.
Poker on the other hand is just a game of high hand. That's it. Without betting poker isn't much of a game. However when you add bets and betting structure, rounds of revealed shared cards like in Hold'em or Stud, well now you have a game. Betting makes poker a game, Snap doesn't need the bets, or like Dead Pool's Diner it's better when they add more structure to the betting.
You're way oversimplifying poker to the point where I find your claim of having played a lot of it to be dubious. "High hand", sure, but there are a LOT of ways to get the high hand. I also don't see why it's even remotely relevant how much more "game" there is without the snapping.
yea, its always worth it for that.
I've been getting to 100 every season the last 4 or 5, but cant even get to mid 80's so far currently.
Anyone else else struggling this season?
Also this. Even when my last daily is to win a location with less than 10 power I still tend to play to win instead of retreating just to get it done.
