This is actually what I reviewed this game saying, it's way to hard to get in at this point, especially when there are other existing card games like magic/pokemon/hearthstone that have existed longer than snap. Why would my friends bother coming to snap if they already have time in those when it's hard to obtain cards in this one.
This game is not pay-to-win. You literally do not need ALL of the cards to play the best decks. If you can build an archetype of a deck, just replace ones you are missing. People act like missing 3 or 4 or 5 cards means you can't win. A lot of skill and lucky RNG can carry you in this game, it's such a skill issue to blame "I'm missing ___ cards so I can't win."
Also, where are you getting "only 1500 tokens a month" from? You get 3k tokens in the collection track every 120 CL levels.
At least they could give more than 50 tokens a day so we can catch up but... the dinner is greedy.
It's cute how SD always find a scummy way to drag new players in, only to dangle a price tag over their heads, "You don't have to pay it, but if you did..."
If you hit the % chance to receieve a "Bonus Card" from Series 3, Series 4 or Series 5, but you already own every card in that Series, you receive Tokens instead (650 Tokens, 2500 Tokens, or 4000 Tokens, respectively,) but that's only if you're already finished collecting every card in that Series.
2 of the packs are 2000 and 2500 tokens, you can easily open multiple of them during a month.
Moreover you don't get any duplicate, only cards you don't own.
This system is far better than the key one, if you can't understand that I'm sorry to say you are really dumb.
