Worst Meta ?

Hey,
Playing since day 1, am I the only one thinking that's it's the worst meta ?

Loki just copy in 1 turn the combo that you set in 2-3 turns (or even 1 game if you play discard)

Alioth is just an retarded card, but works really well with armin zola that make turn 6 totally useless to play

90% of the game i made contain one of this card, which make the game totally retarded imo

What's your opinion ?

I've been playing Alioth a bit, and he has yet to win a game for me. A novel effect, many players are testing it, but looks like it isn't very strong.

Loki, on the other hand, is meta-warping. Not overpowered, but you need to play certain decks to beat him, and that is a sign a card should be changed.

And for me, meta was way worse when Zabu was dominating before he got changed. Or when Leader, and then Galactus, were running rampant. Right now, Loki is a fun deck, and it can be beaten by prepared players.

alioth is a base destroy type card. you play him in destroy, you counter him with base destroy counters.

if you lose to any meme plays like alioth > odin, arnim zola, absorb.man, ...
it basicly means you develop too slow or you play a meme deck yourself ( like wong anything, kitty pride, deadpool, invis hela, ... )

he isnt strong but he deletes deck diversity by pure existance.

and loki? well the copy cat loki is quite fun but the +30 boost outof knowwhere sucks real hard. think loki should get the magik treatment. saying: no effect past turn 5.

you have to either use scaling cards or high cost cards so loki wont benifit too much.
well or counter lokis rules by thanos or high evolutionairy.

Also agree, Alioth isn't that strong, but still Loki and him are 90% of the game

But still, I play discard, Loki can do in 1 turn (turn 5) what i do in 2 or 3 and finish with an awesome Apocalypse in turn 6
100% frustrating

my current game plan is fake turn 7. early magik, just to counter it with snowguard hawk in turn 6. togehter with something big like ghostrider into infinaut.
does surprisingly well.
and pretty funny when you play against deadpool and they destroy their 18+ power deadpool turn 6 so you end up winning all lanes, 2 with less than 10 power. xD

It is and it's going to be that way until loki gets changed.

Until there you have 2 options;

1) play Loki yourself;
2) play something that it's not weak against Loki and still can hold its ground against most other things.

On the second option I have to say, being a f2p and not owning Loki yet after testing the most obvious options (cérebro, high evo, discard, etc) the best deck I come up with is shuri-zero-sauron. That's the one o climb to infinite this season stomping plenty of Loki decks with it.

It's almost like there wasn't regular balancing OTA patches back then. /gasp

It was literally the fastest they had ever nerfed a season pass card at that point.

I think you are confusing nerf with weakened. Loki deck is still strong, losing two power on Collector should not matter that much. Or, if it does, Loki wasn't that strong in the first place.

After the release of Mobius, lots of decks will change drastically, with the ability to shut down cost reduction from cards like Sera/Zabu or Loki.

This card will be mandatory for competitive plays.
