Questions about SNAP: account link, season pass, exclusive items.

Hello everybody!

Have few questions mostly about account and how the in-game store/season passes work.

1. I pre-registered for Marvel Snap back when it was available for Iron Man/Hulk variants cards but never activated those emails. Do the reward (variants) still work or were they limited by a specific time and no longer available? And how can I activate them on Steam if they are still active? Link my account to email I registered with or?

2. What is the reason behind linking your Steam account with your Google account? Special rewards? Better support? Anything else? Can you play without linking it?

3. Season Pass. I understand that all the cards that are in a current season, can be obtained later on, in a few months, for free (is that correct?), but what about card backs and special avatars? Are they limited and can't be obtained after the season is over? Can you buy that season pass bundle later on, if you've started 'late' and miss on some seasons, but want the rewards and willing to pay for them? All I see in the store, except season pass, are gold bundles.

4. Can I link my mobile account with Steam account in the future? Thinking to play on PC, but I would also like to have ability to log in on my phone/iPad here and there.

1. not sure
2. all saving is done through google account. steam will not save your progress(many people here posting about lost accounts because they didn't link a google account)
3. the 1 card in each season is locked to the season pass for 1-2 months then released into the general card pool. card backs/avatars are tied to it and may or may not be available again. noone knows. you can not go back and buy previous seasons
4. google account links your account across all devices.

Also, was browsing Snap official website and found this:

Playing at least one game in the month following MARVEL SNAP's launch will unlock a special variant to help kickstart your collection. iOS devices will unlock a Dan Hipp Iron Man variant, and Android devices will unlock a Max Grecke Hulk variant. You must play on a mobile device to earn the variant.

So I guess you have to start playing on mobile first and then migrate to PC and link your mobile account there.

no... it's just that currently events,news, etc. can only be accessed on mobile. i started on pc with a google account and linked my phone a few days later

And you got your variant(s)? Was it immediately or after you linked your phone?

Logged into iPad to see what's up with the variants rewards and there's one day left to activate and claim it, so here you go. You definitely need mobile device to do so, it doesn't work on PC.
