Linking Accounts?

Hey,

been playing this game a few hours now and made some progress. I recently tried to play the game from a different PC using the same steam account, but none of my progress was saved and the game forced me to start over while my progress on the old PC remans there.

Simply I have two Marvel Snap accounts on one steam account.

I'd like to know if there's a way for me to connect to my old account from the new PC or my mobile phone (through the mobile version of the game).

What seems to be the problem is that i never linked neither of those accounts to google and simply played "as a guest" expecting the steam cloud to synchronize my data. But linking any account to google now just starts a new account therefore a new game from the beginning.

Is there a way around this? Can I play with the same account from different devices whilst not loosing my progress?

link the account you want to a google account. then log out of the other PC and resign in as with the linked google account

Linking an existing account automaticlly makes a new one, therefore deletes all the progress a player has made so far. It is something I'd like to avoid.

Pretty sure that not how it works on andriod it would make guest accounts worthless. Key word the gust account already exists that you are tying to link why would it make a new one?

That's the same question I've been asking myself. however I've already tryed this and exactly that happened so...
